How to Record a Poem Using Audacity
September 25, 2007
A listener named Steve was listening to Cloudy Day Art #80 and heard Don and I talking about using Audacity to record our audio. So, he promptly downloaded the free program, but had some questions about how to use it to record poetry.
So, I decided to do a quick tutorial. I hope it helps more of you send in your poems!

September 3, 2007
This week’s poetry podcast features a recent discussion with Thom Ingram about the importance and non-importance of learning, studying, and using the various poetic forms in our everyday writings.
It was a great discussion and I definitely learned a few insights that I will use in the construction of my own poems.
We would love to hear any feedback on this subject that you may have, so please leave a comment, send an e-mail or call in to the voicemail line with your thoughts!

June 12, 2007
I came across this movie trailer while checking out a new poetry blog called “Speaking of Poetry“.
Billed as:
A comprehensive view of contemporary poetry across the United States.
It’s a Zampano Films production in association Kill Poet Press and Journal (site currently down - their MySpace)
It looks very interesting and I’m curious to see how it is released. Artsy, independent movie houses, straight to DVD???
Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
