Second Sunday for March 2007 - Women
February 22, 2007
I’m happy to announce the return of “Second Sunday“, my listener submitted poetry show!
In honor of “Women’s History Month” I’m happy to announce the theme for March’s show is “Women”. Thanks to listener Julian from the UK for his excellent suggestion.
Please submit your original poems containing the theme of “Women” in audio format by Saturday March 10th for inclusion in the March 11th show. I will also gladly recite any poems for you if you don’t have the means to record or if you would prefer not to record it yourself.
Please check the Second Sunday page for more details and feel free to ask me any questions.
I’m looking forward to hearing from you!
*Podcasters, please feel free to play this promo on your shows.
Thanks for listening!

February 10, 2007
Welcome back everybody.
This week’s show has a little different feel than my previous poetry podcasts. I think it is because the three poems I share have little to no sounds besides the poets voice.
No music.
I think I like the rawness of that.
Poets featured:
- Gordon Buss with “From a Desert Island” (Gordon thanks “Dan at Compact Sound’s railway cuttings studio, Cholsey, for the help”)
- Thom Ingram with “Is the Poet Hiding?“
- Robert Bruce with “Sex, Money, Death and the Thoroughly Modern Man“

Outro Song:
