Coming together…slowly

I’m currently awaiting a new microphone to begin my first stage of my PodCast. Hmmm…saying that I should probably explain what a podcast is. Better yet, just click the in the “Subscribe!” section for more info.

The first stage will probably consist of me reading/performing a couple of selections. That being the case, all I need is a decent, ie cheap but effective, microphone (on order) and some editing software. I will start out using a free audio studio tool called Audacity, but I also have an older version of Cakewalk Home Studio that I may have to dust off. We’ll see what works best.

I am shooting for one PodCast a week at this point, but we’ll see how that goes.

I’ll blog my ever-changing plans as they come together, so check back often. I’ll notify those who know me, when the first PodCast is up, but you can add me to your current podcatcher subscription list and get it automatically once it is posted. (Once again, see the FeedBurner link).

Welcome to CloudyDay Art. Thanks for stopping by.

The purpose of this site and its forthcoming podcast is to share my poetry and the poetry of those I meet “along the way.” Some will be friends and some will be interesting characters who also happen to write poetry.
